Kiran (seen here looking very serious) helps people of all ages get in touch with their creative impulses and tell their own stories.
As a writer, educator, and coach, she has worked with everyone from budding novelists to seasoned songwriters and has designed and taught one-on-one writing programs for middle and high school students. She is the author of 16 plays and is the resident playwright and co-artistic director of Stolen Chair a 3-time Drama Desk Award-nominated theatre company whose work has been called "ingenious" by The New York Times. Kiran was the founder, editor, and head writer of Simone's Diary, a fiction-to-order service that provided personalized short stories per customers' specifications. As delightful as it was to give voice to other people's creative visions, these days Kiran is most delighted by helping people discover and voice their own creativity.
